Todd Daniel Sprague Sr.

Todd Daniel Sprague, Sr., 62, of Lizella, GA passed away January 7, 2025, at Atrium Health Navicent Medical Center. He was born January 16, 1962, in Fort Campbell, KY, a son of John R. Sprague Sr. and Nancy J. (Glenn) Sprague. Todd was a simple man who enjoyed the simple things in life. Easily amused by a silly "dad joke" and he loved to make others smile. His greatest joy was to spend time with his grandkids. He loved most to be called "Papa". He was kind, courageous, and our hero. He never shied away from a challenge. He was a warrior in life. His greatest accomplishment was spreading the gospel of Christ. He never missed a chance to tell someone about Jesus. His mother, Nancy Sprague, said it best. She called him a "winner of souls". Despite all his pain, suffering, and tribulations here on Earth; He never gave up. He persevered and used the time God gave him and his testimony to bring others to Christ. Grandma Nancy would always say for this his (Todd's) rewards in Heaven would be greater than we could ever imagine. Although our earthly body aches and mourns his loss. Our heavenly souls are singing because we know that today Todd (Dad) dances with Jesus. Today he's received those heavenly rewards, and we will see him again. Love Toddy, Sissy, and Boo He is survived by his son, Todd Sprague, Jr.; daughters, Heather (Michael) Weddington and April (Andrew) Titus; brothers, John (Donna) Sprague, Jr., Stephen (Cindy) Sprague and Shawn (Kathleen) Sprague; grandchildren, Tristan (Kiersten) Weddington, Sierra Weddington, Lacey Weddington, Kale Titus, Cole Titus, Christian Titus and Jiles Weddington and a great-granddaughter, Blair Weddington. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will take place at 11AM on Monday, January 13, 2025, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
