Velma Brown Obituary

HUBBARD Velma Jean Brown, 84, died peacefully in her sleep Tuesday October 21, 2025 at Countryside at the Elmwood. Velma was born May 4, 1941 in Roaring Springs, PA a daughter of Wilmer and Berniece Hockenberry. Velma was a member of the Hubbard Church of the Nazarene where she was a greeter and a Sunday school teacher. She graduated from Robertsdale High School and lived in Hubbard for 60 years. She was employed at Federal Wholesale and Denny's in Hubbard. She leaves her son Kie R. Brown Jr. and his wife Julie of Laureldale, PA; sisters, Mary, Shirley and Debbie; a brother Wilmer; grandchildren Ashlie, Kie III, and Alexandra and a great granddaughter Aurora. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Michelle Brown; her husband Kie Brown Sr.; a brother Jim and a sister Ruby. There are no calling hours or services.
