Bonnie Brush Obituary

Bonnie Brush

Bonnie Brush, of Roseburg, formely of Central Point, passed away on August 3, 2007. She was 65. Bonnie was a great gardener and could make anything grow anywhere. But her main love in life was her family and friends. Bonnie worked for years as the receptionist at the North River Boats in Wilbur and was loved by her co-workers and customers. She even sold a boat or two when everyone else was busy.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 45 years, Roy Brush; her son, Brian Brush and his wife Tammie, both of Roseburg and her daughter, Brenda Sacchi and her husband Paul, both of Central Point. Bonnie also has two brothers, Jeff Royer, of Dufur, and Scott Toyer, of Central Point; and a sister, Debra Reyes, of Medford. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Mildred Royer.

Bonnie, or Nana as the grandkids called her, was a very devoted wife, mom and grandmother. Nana spent a lot of time with the grandkids and even tried to make sure that Brenda and Tammie were working so that she "would have to" take care of the grandkids. Nana's pride and joys were Derek and Hannah Sacchi, of Central Point; Madison Brush, of Roseburg; and Brittany Goble of Fairfield.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 12:10 P.M., Thursday, August 9, 2007 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, in Roseburg. There will be a reception following the mass. Bonnie's love of children was so great that the family requests, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to any children's organization that supports and helps the children of Douglas County. Arrangements entrusted to Wilson's Chapel of the Roses, Roseburg.
