Kaelin Glazier Obituary

Kaelin Rose Glazier
May 1, 1981 to November 6, 1996
Missing for 11 years, now found

The mystery of her disappearance is finally coming into the light.

Born May 1, 1981, she touched our lives with her sweet, vivacious, creative, loving spirit. We have missed her these past 11 years so very much. Loving big sister to her four siblings, Jia, Shankara, Naomi Claire and Hannah, she was looked up to and admired greatly. She is also survived by her two stepsisters, Lori and Krista and her nephew, Mason, also.

Daughter to Kimberly Cruz Waller and Shannon Waller, her stepfather; and to Paul Haueisen, her father, she gave them all much joy. She was a precious granddaughter to Sue Bates, Richard Bates and Claudia Bates, on her mother's side. She was the only grandchild to Otto Haueisen and Shirley Haueisen of Nevada City, Calif., whom she had lived with at times and loved very much, which are on her father's side. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles and cousins, many of whom are from the Medford, Ore., area.

She was a true blessing and joy to all who knew her. She was also a wonderful friend to many. Her interests included drama, creative writing, cheerleading, art, singing, dancing and she loved Jesus. The long search for her whereabouts has finally come to an end and we can now have our memorial service to celebrate her life. Please join us.

Kaelin you were such a truely pure spirit. You didn't deserve to leave this world the way that you did, but we all have peace that you are in Heaven with our Father and being taken care of and loved.
May your family find the peace that their hearts need at this hard time.

Kim and family,
I was saddened to read about Kaelin but am comforted in knowing that she is with our Gracious and loving Lord above.
I could not attend Kaelin's Memorial Service but my thoughts and prayers were with your family.
May the Lord always cradle each of you in His Loving arms. I pray that you will be given the strength to get through the rough road ahead.
Most Sincerely,

Dear Kim, You have touched our lives, been in our prayers and your strength is the evidence of the good God we serve. I taped the recent interview with you & Mike on KAPL. It so moved me and how God has guided you thru this tragedy and is continuing too. On a trip to Montana recently and in a quaint little shop, I met a young gal named Mandy, in her late twenties who has just experienced the suicide of her brother and the murder of a friend. She's a new Christian and very confounded. God used me to share how God thru His word has given you strength to endure when all we can feel is weakness sometimes. God is using you farther in places than you know. I pumped your gas during this tragic time at the J'vlle Texaco.
May God's arm's of love continue to cover and surround you.
In His love, Debbie

Van Wey's Market and we know your brother Jeff real well Our heart and prayers are always with you I have always admired your strong faith through this all and I know it was the strength of Jesus.Remember the Lord is Just and He has you and your family in his arm and we can count on His promises Love in Jesus

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I never knew Kaelin or the family, but we moved to the applegate five years ago, I remember seeing her photos on posters. You can see in the her face that she was truly loved and will be missed greatly. I could never imagine the pain this family has gone through but my heart and prayers go out to them.

I'll always remember Kaelin as the fairy queen. We were in A Midsummer's Night Dream together at Applegate Elementary. If anyone could be the fairy queen, it was her. She was beautiful, sweet and kind. No matter how much time passes, that is how I will always remember her.

Although I never got the chance to meet Kaelin I remember seeing the posters around the valley & I hoped & prayed she would return home safe...I am sad that the worst has become evident but glad that at least now she can finally be laid to rest. She is close to the same age I am & I can't even begin to imagine all your family has gone through...but as I hoped & prayed for Kaelin my prayers now continue to the family who loved her so much.

Kim;
I'm thankful that you finally have a closure to this long story. I remember meeting Kaelin shortly after she was born at Lisa's (Madden) in Medford, then about 15 yrs. later at R-Ranch (Hornbrook) when you brought her & Hanna there. She was a beautiful young lady & a great "big sister". May she rest in God's arms.

As Kaelin's Mom I've been so blessed. Even through incredible heartache I have kept the sweet memories in my heart. The Lord has sustained us, guided us and we must trust
His ways that are far higher than ours. His timing is perfect. I believe He will somehow even use this tragedy for the kingdom and I hope everyone who reads this will consider their maker - we will all meet him oneday and dance forever with her if we're ready. Blessings to all of our kind hearted family and friends who have dedicated time, money, energy and many prayers to help us know the truth.

I ache for her eyes, her smile, her caring, and her presence. I hope that I find you in the next world my darling daughter. You are missed by your family and friends, and I am so sorry that I could not protect you Kaelin.

April 21, 2008

I think a lot of us felt like Kaelin was "our missing child". She was a part of our community, our church and even one of our children's friendships. Our prayers have joined yours for all of this time and it is with great emotion we share your relief to at least have some answers. Our hearts go out to you and all you have suffered. We cannot even imagine. Yet, you have clung to your faith in Jesus. You WILL see Kaelin again and we hope it helps knowing this and also that others have always cared and prayed for you quietly in the background. May God heal your hearts and bring only good memories to your minds.

I remember Kaelin as a small child...She was my daughters age... My last clear memory of her is at Los Bagles in Arcata, she and Briana were around 7 or 8 y.o.... You all had just come back from Hawaii I think... We sat around the same table and ate... Time has stopped for Kaelin, she will always be young... The rest of us go on with life... She will always be with us in our memory...
Much Love and Many Blessings to you,

I was a co-worker with Kaelin's grandfather - Dick Bates. His sadness broke my heart when he asked me to help find volunteers to search on horse back. God and Kaelin are pleased; I am sure, with Kaelin's family. Their never-ending love and dedication to her memory and finding her; was an inspiration. May God's peace that surpasses all understanding, lift you up and sustain you always.
