Bernie was the catcher on our baseball team at WHS, which meant for baseball positions, his position is recorded in the book as #2. In my mind, Bernie was never a #2; he was always a #1 ! As I read about his post high school life, I am more proud today to say that Bernard McCaslin was a WHS classmate of mine. His strong hand shake, his ever present smile and his laugh were all genuine.
Thank you Bernie for being a great classmate, fellow teammate, and a life long friend. Jack Nivison, Winslow

Norma, Dean, Patti & Peggy,
My deepest sympathy to all of you at this difficult time. I have so many wonderful memories of Bernie as he took me on as his very young secretary while I was a senior in high school and attending Thomas College. He was always smiling and when he laughed you couldn't help but laugh with him. He was very supportive when I lost my dad when I was 19 years old. Whenever I crossed his path over the years, he always acknowledged me and was so very cordial. Bernie was a wonderful person who I will always remember.

My deepest sympathy at this difficult time. Bernie was so special to me...taking me on as his very young secretary as I worked for him during my senior year in high school and while attending Thomas College back in the '70's. He was always smiling and when he laughed you couldn't help but laugh with him. He was very supportive to me when my dad passed away when I was only 19 years old. Over the years when I saw him, he always was so cordial. He was a wonderful man who will be greatly missed and always remembered.

Dear Dean, It's been SO long since we have seen one another, but I want to extend my deepest sympathies to you and your family on the loss of your father. I knew him through my grandmother, who also attended Pleasant St. United Methodist Church for many decades. I recently lost my mother, and can only imagine what you must be feeling. You have been on my mind a lot lately, of course, especially since the passing of Dave A. I do hope to see you some time. I wish you and your family love and very fond memories of great times spent with your loved ones.

Dearest regards,

Cyndy Lessard Plante
