to Brian's mother and family: I had the pleasure of taking care of Brian a few years ago at the Health Center. He was a kind gentleman and quiet and mild. I know from his words that he was a great mechanic. Moreover I will miss seeing him walking his dog faithfully in Oakland, as I drove off to somewhere and we met eyes, on many occassions. God bless you.

Maine's R/C racing community has lost a valuable asset, a good friend, and an all-around great guy. I can't count all the times Otto was there to help a fellow racer with tuning ideas, decals for your car, or a spare part (or truck!) to get you running again. He'd give the shirt off of his back to help people, and I'll miss him dearly. His memory will live on because he always reminded us of the most important things about this hobby - helping others and having fun.

Rest easy, brother.

Otto's love of RC cars/trucks was exceeded by his love of helping others, especially those new (specifically younger enthusiasts) to the hobby. A role model at the local track (Granite Leisure Time), who greatly inspired my son Chad. Otto will be missed.
