Dear Ken and family,
I'm truly saddened by the news of your loss of Carol. I will remember your family friendship to Terry and me over the years. Terry so loved going to your store in Manchester not just because it was a great place to shop but mostly because the Ballard family were running it and so kind to everyone even those of us "who were from away". Carols smile and lovely self will be greatly missed in this world and especially in Manchester Maine my home for 28 years. I know this wonderful woman is in the arms of the Lord and I wish for your comfort during this time. We are never ready to loose someone like your Carol. With Deepest Sympathy, Lin Burns

To the Ballard Family,
Words do not come easily during this loss of a mom, a grandmother and a wife, and a neighbor and a family member. I have loved this family for the past 56 years. Myrtle Street was a small town road where we went sliding on our runner sleds in the middle of the road, we went skating together and swimming in your pool. The Ballard family was the "roots" of the little town of Manchester that is no longer so little. You smile, your love and your commitment to the families of Manchester and all that you did for the community will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace Carol Ann ~ Another Star in the heavens above shining down on us all and protecting us!

There is no doubt in my mind, that right from the start, I found an extraordinary friend that lay in the heart of Carol Ann. I will never forget the gifts we shared in knowing each other. Missing her will not be an easy road. May her devoted family find peace at this time of great grief. I am honored to have been the recipient of so much kindness from Carol and all the Ballard family.
