Mel, Ed, and Noah Dowe

To all of the Dowe Family in S. China, to Bobby, Inna, Jen and to Dennis' brother Bobby: Mel, Noah, and I send you positive thoughts and love during this difficult time. I only got to meet Dennis a few times, but we did talk a bit through text and Facebook, and I'm so glad he stopped into visit me a few years ago. He is family, but even if he was a stranger, I would have truly liked him. I know he was into some of the music we listen to - The Grateful Dead and Phish, so I thought a quote from Garcia and Hunter would be a nice thought: "Sometimes we live no particular way but our own/Sometimes we visit your country and live in your home/Sometimes we ride on your horses/Sometimes we walk alone/Sometimes the songs that we hear are just songs of our own."
