1946 - 2017
DRESDEN - Eugene A. Barto Sr. died peacefully at his home on Oct. 5, 2017, in Dresden. he was 71.
Eugene (Skip) leaves behind his wife Carol of 27 years and a large family that will miss him dearly.
Military honors will be held Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Dresden.
Arrangements are under the care of Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Ave., Gardiner.

Dad, I cant begin to put into words how much I miss you and how much you meant to me. Life without you hasnt been the same. The day your suffering on this earth ended was the beginning for me. I struggle to keep fighting the good fight but watching you over the years and knowing how much you fought threw inspires me to keep going. Thank you Dad for being such a strong man and being my father. I love you Dad and I will see you on the other side.
