Francis Montag Obituary
DOVER-FOXCROFT - Francis "Bob" Montag, 73, born Dec. 6, 1944, in Augusta, died May 21, 2018, in the care of hospice while residing in Dover-Foxcroft.
His decision to change residences and live with Jesus brought him much happiness and peace of mind, knowing he would forever be free from pain. So, with joy, we who love him release him to his savior, including his wife, Mary; and children, Michelle, Mike, and Maia.
We give thanks for all the people who administered their skills in caring and treating Bob over these many years, including the staff at Eastern Maine General, Maine General Physiatry, the therapists of Mayo Regional Hospital, the nurses of Beacon Hospice, but especially to Dr. Kristen Wagner, D.O., of Dover-Foxcroft Family Medicine. Thank you all for your insight!
In accordance with Bob's wishes, there will be a private family memorial service.
Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.

My grandfather was a great man. Even though we were separated by the distance he never forgot me. He always made sure to talk to me over the phone. My only regret is that we did not have more time to spend together.

Mary, I'm so sorry to hear of Bob's passing...we had many good times way back in the old days...I was actually think of him last week wondering if he was still back in the woods
