Hazel Giles Obituary
She was born on July 6, 1923, in Benton, the daughter of Archie H. Sr. and Eleanor (Knight) Goodale. Hazel was married to Maynard E. Giles.
Hazel enjoyed latch work, crossword puzzles and most of all her "soaps," as she watched "Young and the Restless" daily. Hazel loved most spending time with her family.
Hazel was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Maynard Giles; an infant son, Leroy Giles; two sisters, Katherine Thurlow and Alice Nye; and three brothers, John Goodale, James Goodale and Archie Goodale Jr.
Hazel is survived by two daughters, Eleanor Lessard of North Vassalboro and Doris Ison of Florida; a brother, Manley Goodale; six grandchildren, Keith Lessard, Shelly Frost, Samantha Lessard, Melanie Davenport, Kristopher Lessard and Jonas Ison; 10 great-grandchildren, Nicolle Clement, Jenifer Lessard, Jesseca Hall, Renee Lessard, Natashia Varney, Jacob Varney, Mikayla Reynolds, Kasaundra Reynolds, Alicia Reynolds, and Clarissa Lessard.
A graveside service will take place at a later date in the spring. Arrangements are under the care of Redington Funeral Home.

Dottie, Iam so sorry I cant give you a hug during this time. It must be so hard for you way down there by yourself to get the news of your mom.Its good that you were able to come upso you could spend time with her during her illness. love you Dot.

I never did get to say goodbye! I wanted to but at the same time i found out i was pregnant and was working a lot. Hopefully your spirit will be with my baby. I love you nana. You were an amazing person.

To Shelly, Keith, Sami jean,Melanie, and Kris. My Heart goes out to you all your nana loved you all very much and you were all very good to her.She enjoyed being with you kids. also all her great granchildren , she got a kick out of all of them and would tell little things about them that would make her laugh. Ellie, sometimes its feels so unfair to os when the Lord sends for our loved ones when we don't expect it but she was ready and he knew it. She is in a safe place now and is at peace. I know auntie Hazel wants you to get on with your life and be strong. Ellie I am so proud of you the way you cared for your mom you were very special to her. I love you ellie iam here when you need me.
