Jackie loved bingo, and she played often at the American Legion in Madison, and woul-dn't miss playing every chance she got. She also enjoyed her grandchildren, photographs, browsing and shopping at the dollar store and yard sales, and crafts such as sewing and crocheting. Jackie was passionate about cooking. When she was able, she baked and cooked to share with the other residents in her apartment complex.
She was predeceased by her parents; and siblings Joan Arris, Lorraine Walker, Gordin Austin Sr. and Rebecca Landry.
Jackie is survived by her daughter, Gail Shibles, and husband Randy Shibles Sr.; grandsons Jamie Shibles and fiancŽe Jessica Rogers and Randy Shibles Jr. "Rj", all of Hartland; niece and caregiver Vickie Davis; sister-in-law Alice Austin; brother-in-law Raymond Landry Jr.; special friend William Landry Sr.; and many nieces and nephews. Jackie had lots of friends in her lifetime, but none as special Richard and Lillian Baker, and Evelyn Crocker, whom she talked fondly of for their friendship and kindness.
There were so many fond memories that she spoke of, but a couple of her favorites were how she loved to make and hear Jamie and Rj laugh and the hard time her "favorite" son-in-law would give her on the phone every time she called.
At Jackie's request, no services will be held.
Memorial donations my be made to the American Lung Association of Maine, 122 State St., Augusta, ME 04330-5615.
