Kristy Brann Obituary
1978 - 2017
AUGUSTA - Kristy Jane Labonte Brann passed away Nov. 30, 2017, in Augusta. Born March 9, 1978, to parents Normand Labonte and Bette Magnan, Kristy attended Augusta schools, and graduated from Erskine Academy in 1996. She left there with a license to be a CNA. Being the passionate and caring person that she was, she cared for veterans at Maine Veteran Homes for 12 years.
Eventually, at a young age, Kristy was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and lupus of the blood. These were painful years for her. She loved being in her garden; she loved music and dancing around her home to her favorite tunes.
She always owned cats because of her love for animals.
Kristy married her soulmate in 1997, Robert Brann, who was with her in the end, even after all their struggles. They raised three beautiful, wonderful children.
Left behind to cherish Kristy's memory are: mother and stepfather, Bette Magnan and Jim Magnan; father and stepmother, Normand Labonte and Eileen Labonte; in-laws, Faith and Bob Brann; partner, Rob Brann; daughters, Kayla Brann, fiancé Michael Olcott, and grandson Bentley; and Robin Jones, husband Justin Jones, and grandson Koleman; son, Robert Andrew Brann; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

I met Kristy in dance class with Laurie when we were in elementary/middle school. She always had a smile on her face and she was always kind. I haven't seen Kristy in many years then about a year ago we reconnected on facebook. My thoughts and prayers to her family during this difficult time. God Bless

I met kristy when I was 18 as a fellow co-worker at a home health care agency. I immediately liked her. Our paths crossed many times over the years and I was lucky enough to call her my friend ❤ kristy will be sadly missed as she was such a kind and sweet person.

I worked with Kristy for many years. I loved her willingness to try something new to make things better for her residents. I am very sad to see she is gone. My deepest sympathy to her family.
