My sympathy to the family of someone who was always ready to share his time and stories. Our memories start at South Grammar School days and continue through WHS and all the points of contact in years after that. Glad there was that last brief visit in the office in the fall of 2016.

Our sincerest sympathy to the entire Mitchell family. Paul had a very full life of participating and serving in so many ways. We especially enjoyed our times together with the family in Key Biscayne. Paul would entertain us with his vivid imagination and humor, at any opportunity, to the delight of all. We will always remember him with a special fondness. Peace be with you.

My sincere condolence to all the Mitchells. Paul was a hard act to follow. He and I use to joke about my being half Lebanese and looking Irish and he being half Irish, but looking Lebanese. All of Waterville has lost one of their finest.

Bill and Jeff,
I was very sorry to hear about your Dad. He was truly an icon in the industry. I had the pleasure of going to Washington to meet his Brother on behalf of the Association.
You both should be so proud of the legacy and compassion he had for the State of Maine and the city of Waterville.
Take Care and know that Nancy and are thinking and praying for both you and your Mom.

We shared some laughs at Park Residences and discussed local issues as well-interestingly, we agreed on lots about our city. Would see him at Lakewood visiting his lovely wife. Time is moving on, love to all the family.

We are saddened to learn of the passing of another member of the Waterville, Maine Lebanese community. Paul channeled the path for community development in the 1960s, and built Waterville, Maine's economic growth throughout the years, and passed the torch of business and commerce development on to William. To the entire Mitchell family in New England, our thoughts and prayers are with you all now, and the days to follow.

a gentleman from a wonderful family. I was fortunate enough to have known most of them. they were very community oriented. Particularly I am glad to have volunteered with Jeff and Lisa on Winslow's July 4th celebration. May Paul be remembered fondly. He certainly deserves it.
