Paul Ouellette Obituary

RICHMOND -- Paul Emile Ouellette, age 81, died on Monday, March 12, 2007.

He was born in Chisholm on Aug. 19, 1925. He worked as a roll finisher at International Paper in Chisholm for a number of years.

Mr. Ouellette served in the Navy from August 1943 to March 1946, receiving a World War II Victory Medal, American Theater Medal and Asiatic Pacific Medal with five stars.

He was a longtime resident of Richmond Eldercare, where he leaves behind many friends and fellow Bingo players.

He is survived by two daughters, Kathy and Rose, and a sister, Pauline.

Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, March 19, at Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Ave., Gardiner. A committal service with military honors will follow at 1 p.m. at the chapel in the new Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Mount Vernon Road, Augusta.
