Shawn Nadeau Obituary
- 2016 -
SKOWHEGAN - On Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, at 1:40 p.m., we lost our "Little Buddy," Shawn Anthony Nadeau. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.
Born July 26, 2016, in Portland, Shawn defied all odds. He was a beautiful soul with a strong will to live. He touched so many lives here on earth and we are simply blessed to have had the chance to show him the gift of love. He will continue to live on in our hearts forever and always.
Besides his Mom and Dad, Aaron Nadeau and Meranda Brown, of Skowhegan, he is survived by one brother, Erin Leiby, of Oakland; two sisters, Emily Leiby, of Madison; and Scarlet Nadeau, of Skowhegan; his grandparents, Jeff and Debra Nadeau, of Skowhegan; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandfather, Francis Brown Sr.; his uncle, Shawn Cowing; and his cousins, Hailey and Morgan.
The family would like to thank his aunt Rebecca Shute and uncle Steve Nadeau for the extraordinary care they provided to him. The family also would like to extend their thanks to MaineGeneral Hospice, and especially to Sandra Bacon for her care and kindness.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, at 2 p.m. at the Skowhegan Federated Church, Island Ave., Skowhegan. A potluck gathering will follow the service in the fellowship hall. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan.
