Stacy Powers Obituary
1965 - 2016
WEST GARDINER - Stacy Catherine Powers, 51, unexpectedly passed away in her West Gardiner home on Feb. 26, 2016. Stacy was the beloved wife of Daniel Powers, of Camden, for 27 years. She was the dearest mother to her daughter, Aubrey and husband Noel Lacaillade of Oahu, Hawaii, and her sons Daniel Powers of Amberg, Germany and Jay Hanson of Seattle, Washington.
Stacy was born on Jan. 29, 1965 in Agana, Guam to James and Charlee Daniels. She has three sisters, Patty Kincaid, Shawn Daniels, and Kelly Daniels, and two brothers, James Daniels and Michael Barrows. Stacy didn't have any grandchildren but considered her daughter's animals her fur-grandchildren. Stacy had a joyous and adventurous life, she went to school in England and served as a medic in the United States Army for three years. After her military experience, Stacy continued her work of caring for others in need as a CNA.
Stacy was a radiant woman who lit up the world with her vibrant personality, nurturing kindness, and contagious laughter. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. Stacy will be missed by everyone whose life she touched.
Her family wants to thank family and friends for their kind words and support during this difficult time.
Services will be held at Staples Funeral Service, 53 Brunswick Ave. Gardiner on Friday March 4, at 1 p.m. followed by a gathering at her home at 140 Cold Stream Rd. West Gardiner.
