ALGONQUIN, Ill. - Suzanne Mary (Arsenault) Daigle, 85, passed away March 24, 2014, after a short illness. She was born in Skowhegan, Maine, to Andrew and Melinda Arsenault. "Sue" was a model for the ladies' dress shop, Talbots, a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed her work especially when they had style shows. She also enjoyed playing her piano for which she had a natural talent.
She is survived by her two daughters, Lenore Daigle, of Chicago, Ill., and Monica (Daigle) Gully, of Barrington Hills, Ill.; her son-in-law, Stewart Gully; and her two grandchildren, Caroline Gully and Lucas Gully, both of Barrington Hills, Ill.; brothers Rollins Arsenault and wife Nathalie, and Francis Arsenault and wife, Loraine, and sister Olive Estes, all of Skowhegan, Maine; and many nieces and nephews.
Sue was predeceased by her husband, Phillip Daigle, in 1998. She was also predeceased by her oldest sister, Betty (Arsenault) Wescott; brothers Andrew Arsenault, Robert Arsenault, Agnew Arsenault and Wilfred "Blackie" Arsenault; and a nephew, Dale Arsenault, who was raised by his grandmother in this house of Arsenaults.
There will be a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 22, at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church in Skowhegan, Maine. Burial is to follow at St. Sebastian Cemetery in Madison, Maine, followed by a gathering of family and friends at RaeJean's home in Norridgewock, Maine.
