My Family and I were very shocked to hear about what happened. To give your life for your country is the ultimate sacrifice. All men and women who have done this are heros, and you are no exception. We are all proud to have you as a nephew and cousin. Each year we will honor you on Memorial Day which is a day set aside for you and all of the other heros past and presant. As a lifetime military member (ARMY) I feel especially strong about this.

We will miss you,

To Adam,

We might not of spent much time together as we got older, but I wished nothing but the best for you. I miss you very much, and I will see you again someday, but until then know that we are all thinking of you, and that we'll never forget you.

My son Austin is also at Parris Island and would've participated in the strength training test on Saturday also. I imagine he and Adam were in the same company (Alpha). I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine the pain you are experiencing, but I do know that our Lord God is able to supply grace for our every need. His grace is sufficient to carry you during this time.

To Adam's whole family,

There are no words that will take away the sorrow. I remember Adam as the little boy who would come over to our house and try his best to "hang with the big boys". That little boy grew up to be a very special young man.
