To Alice and family:

I was saddened to read of Arthur's passing. I first met Arthur in the early 1970's when he hired me as a staff accountant at Lybrand, Ross Brothers and Montgomery upon graduating from college. He was a true professional and a great mentor for me early in my career. I remember his dry, witty, sense of humor and recall he was also a master of doing crossword puzzles before computers and the internet were available. He had a love for his work and family. Having moved to Oklahoma from Portland 8 years ago, I lost contact with Arthur but wanted you to know he was an important person in providing direction in my professional life. Know that you and your family are in my prayers at this difficult time.
