Charlie,
I was so fortunate to grow up so close to you, Carol, Todd & Tina. Thank you for stopping by my house a few years back to say hi and chat. I hope you knew how much that meant to me. We'll be thinking of you often, especially during late summer when cucumbers, vinegar & spices are gathered and put together to create those one of a kind "Frederick" pickles.
With much love & fond memories,
Mike

Tina, Todd, Kitty and your families,
My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead. Your loss is an immense one. I hadn't seen Charlie in a very long time and regret it. I will always remember him as a fun mentor to Patty Pemberton Wallace and me, as we spent a lot of time at Charlie and Carol's house in the late 60's, early 70's. We were the built in baby-sitters then.
Hopefully fun memories and the love of family and friends will carry you through your grief.

Kitty,I don't know how to express the sadness that I have felt for you the past week and a half; You've already endured so much sadness in your life..I have no answers on why this happened to such a wonderful, loving lady as you and to such a joyful, loving, caring, friendly man as Charlie:He was always such a joy to see and talk to..I feel so blessed to have known him....I just hope that somehow you are able to find some comfort in the kind words/prayers/& acts of kindness that you will receive from the many caring people whose lives that Charlie touched..May all your wonderful memories out weigh the sorrow-cherrish those memories and know Charlie will be watching over you and that he'll keep you SAFE~HAPPY~& HEALTHY always.Take comfort in knowing he's no longer in pain.Know your Friends&Family are here for you if you need/want us!! With Love-Care & Concern
