     WINTER HAVEN, Fla. -- Dennis William Austin, 49, of Winter Haven, Fla., passed away on April 15, 2007, at his residence. He was born on May 21, 1957, in Portland, a son of Iona Hazel (Grant) and Ralph William Austin. In January of 1990, he moved from Biddeford to Winter Haven, Fla., where he was a cook at Winter Haven Hospital. He was the cofounder of the Parrot Head Club of Winter Haven and was also a member of the Biddeford Elks. He was of the Baptist faith.
     He is survived by his wife, Pamela Jean (Frostick) Austin of Winter Haven, Fla.; his son, Allen W. Austin of Winter Haven, Fla.; his mother, Iona Austin of Scarborough; his brothers, Wayne Austin of Morganton, N.C., Terry Austin of Hamden, Pa., David Austin of Massachusetts, and Brian Austin of Limerick.
     Visiting hours are 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, and Wednesday, April 18, at the Crisp - Coon Funeral Chapel - Winter Haven, Fla., where funeral services will take place at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
