Dorothy Elizabeth Wilcox, 92
ATLANTA, Ga. -- Dorothy Elizabeth Wilcox, 92, of Atlanta, Ga., formerly of Portland, died on Monday, July 5, 2010, after an extended illness.
She was born in Elmsdale, Nova Scotia, Canada, on April 19, 1918, the daughter of the late John A. Olson and Bessie B. Craig. She moved to Portland at age five and attended Portland Schools. Dorothy was a graduate of Deering High School in 1935. She was the wife of the late G. Fulton Wilcox, also of Portland, who passed away in 2000. They were married for 60 years.
She is survived by her three loving children, Fulton Wilcox of Colts Neck, N.J., Clayton Wilcox of Littletown, Pa., and Marilyn Wilcox Murphy of Atlanta, Ga.; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Woytkewicz of Portland. She was the sister of the late Irene McPhail and Jack Olson of Portland and George Olson of Worchester, Mass.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 10, at 2 p.m., at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St., Portland. Interment will be at a later date at Brooklawn Memorial Park. Please visit www.jonesrichandhutchins.com for additional information and to sign a guestbook.

Dear All, Aunt Dot and uncle fult were special inso many ways. I remember
growing up all in the same neighborhood and sharing holidays, trips to the lake and on and on. They are missed. You are in my thoughts always.
