I knew Jimmy from him coming over to our Woodford Street house years ago to visit after work with Al. I can picture him with his sunglasses and that hat he always wore. Most of all I remember him being friendly to everyone and always being positive and happy. Simply a good man.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Jimmie was an inspiration to all of us who had the priviledge to work with him. I'd like to share a special quote with you by Randy Pausch: We don't beat the reaper by living longer, we beat the reaper by living well and living fully. I know Jimmie lived his life to the fullest and has inspired many others to do the same. He will live forever in our hearts.

A Message From Above

The good Lord has now called on me.
His heavenly gates I now can see.

I ask you to be strong and try not to cry.
Don’t second-guess and don’t ask why.

Find comfort together and stay close as one.
Our family is strong and cannot be undone.

I hope thoughts of me will make you smile,
laugh out loud and last awhile.

The memories I’ve left are yours to keep.
I have no regrets, so please don’t weep.

I made this journey without any fear;
knowing those I love would welcome me here.

So go on with your life as if I am still there,
for I will be watching to show you I care.

And listen closely for when the next bell rings,
as this will mean I have gotten my wings.
