Rest in peace, Jane. What a great lady who was a dedicated public servant and a wonderful mentor. As with all Municipal Clerks, her name is forever engraved in the lives of those who were born or married in Portland during her time as Clerk. For some of us lucky enough to call her a friend, she'll remain in our memories. Deepest sympathy to the family.
