Malakai Cawood Obituary
LIMINGTON - Malakai Xavier Cawood of Limington was granted his Angel wings on Sept. 21, 2016.
Malakai passed away in a tragic car accident in Durham. He was 21 years old. Malakai's life was too short, yet he touched many lives with his trademark smile, big hugs, soft heart and love for his family and friends.
He enjoyed gaming, gardening, swimming and spending time with his friends and family.
He was looking forward to starting a family with his Fiance' Jizelle Bertin, and thrilled to become a Dad in the next few months.
Malakai will be forever remembered by his mother, Theresa Cawood, father Travis Howard, devoted sister Elisabeth, beloved fiance' Jizelle Bertin, and their unborn child, as well as other siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends and family are invited to a Celebration Of Life Ceremony on Saturday Oct. 1, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at Life Church at 8 Elkins Rd., Gorham, Maine 04038. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Brackett Funeral Home, Brunswick.
A Memorial fund has been established.

I know it's late I really haven't had the time to write anything but Malachi was a great person he was my big brother and I will always miss him I think about him everyday and I wish that I could have said goodbye may his family be blessed in this time and may they stay strong and remember the good times like I do. We miss you buddy and may your little one grow up and know that their daddy loves them so much

We are so sad about this tragedy. The Florida Cawoods (Dora, Lela, Lou, Ruth) will keep our Maine relatives in our prayers. Even though we are far away, you are in our hearts and minds everyday. May God help you be comforted and find peace in His sometimes mysterious plan. We must trust God is in control even though it is beyond our understanding. We love you all. Malakai was a wonderful young man. I had the honor of driving him on my school bus years ago. A sweet young man with a heart of gold. Bless you Malakai. Your spirit will touch your unborn child before it appears for the earthbound journey ahead. Light and Love to the family stay strong and love on.
