Dear Mark "Frank" Beatty
It is truly grateful to have known you. You are the very best friend to your friend Stephen; you guys were like brothers. You were like an uncle to our children, Little Stephen and Kara Mia "the Princess" as you called her. You were my confidence when I needed to talk to someone for support. You have given unconditional love and help when needed to our family and friends. You are a great guy, wonderful person, and beautiful soul who will be forever missed. You now are a guiding angel along with my little brother, Michael "Spike" Jennings. Please watch over us and let us know that both of you are all right. Tell my brother that I miss and love him and the same goes for you. Have fun and laughter with my brother and we will all meet again one day. With love,
Enola and family

We grew up with Mark on Munjoy Hill on Vesper St. As a boy he was always a gentleman and had that great smile. 35 yrs later we were neighbors again. I will miss his wave and smile. RIP Mark.

To the Beatty Family, I am still in total shock and trying to absorb why this happened to such a great guy. Mark always had a big smile on his face and kind words (unless you were wrong, then he would tell you). I will remember Mark for the love of his family and friends and always ready to have a good time. John and I will miss you upta camper this summer. May you rest in peace and until we meet again my friend. Love you, Cheryl and John Sikora.

During an average lifetime you if you are fortunate you may meet a person who you become friends with and feel you know them pretty good .As time progresses you begin to notice things the the person does and never mentions those they are helping in a time of need or the many times they stop and talk to somebody who just needs a kind ear to listen to them.as more time goes on you realize that the person you thought you knew is far more helpful and important to so many and does behind the scenes so much more than you could imagine anyone doing or could ever do yourself . Mark Beatty was such a person . I was lucky to call him a friend and I am one of countless people Mark took time to help in a time of need .The world , the Press Herald where he worked were better places because of Mark .Mark will be missed by all those who called him friend , all those whose lives he touched with kindness. God bless you Mark , may you rest in peace .
