My deepest sympathies to all of Mike's family. I have known Mike pretty well for the last 10 years. We came to know one another through the business we're in. I worked for Tyson/IBP and met Mike that way. We always talked about getting together with our wives to meet somewhere for dinner and that just never happened. Funny how time is always of the essence and we don't take the time to appreciate today. I have a summer place in Wells, ME and it really should have been conveinent for us to meet for dinner. I will truly miss his friendship and his wit. May God take you into his arms and bring you to a much better place my friend.

Dear Sharon and "Georgie" (you will always be that to us, George). Can't tell you how shocked and sorry we both were to hear of Mike's death. We have such wonderful memories of you all as our next door neighbors and all the fun we shared. Our very first memory of Mike was of him dressed as a woman when he rang our doorbell the first Halloween you were our neighbors -- I can still see him standing there -- he was the best looking, best dressed, hairy legged guy we have ever seen! Not only was he fun to be around, but a truly caring friend as well. We will never forget his love and caring when we lost our son. There are no words that can ever express how much we have always loved and cared about all of you and we want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers now as always.

I will never forget the stories Mike would tell at the family gatherings we've had over the years....I can't say I knew him well, but whenever I heard Mike telling a story I knew I had to listen. There are a lot of entertaining story tellers in my family, but Mike, who married into the family, was always the best. I am thankful that I was at his house for his mother in law's (and my great Aunt's) 90th birthday party last month, he was someone that was always the life of the party. Thank you Mike for just being who you were, you will not be forgotten by anyone who ever knew you, its a shame you had to leave us so soon, but the memories of you will always remain. I am glad to have had you in my family.

I met Mike my first week at Hannaford almost ten years ago and have had the privilege of calling him my friend ever since. Mike was one of those people who had no idea how loved and respected he was. He always downplayed his popularity and intelligence and always loved to say to me with a laugh that he was "just a nobody". He was a great person and a wonderful friend - I will truly miss him.

My prayers and thoughts are with the Dineen family. Mike will be missed at Hannaford. I will personally miss talking to Mike and having him share his memories of his son playing football for the Biddeford Tigers, as well as updating me on the adventures of his grandchildren.

Aunt Sharon & George,
I was so very sad to hear about Uncle Mike. I will always, always remember his booming laugh, sense of humor and his ever-ready smile. The memories of seeing him at "Grammy and Grampy's" on our summer trips down from Andover will be something that I will look back on with fondness and a smile of my own.
My thoughts, prayers and love are with you all.

To the family of Mike Dineen.... I worked with him at Hannaford many years ago. He was always smiling, a very comical guy. I remember the day I had to go infor a store meeting and arrived in curlers because I was in marching band and was going to the game right after the meeting. He razzed me for months!.. He worked with my former brother in law Darrell for many years and I got double the teasing when the two of them were working together. Mike was a great guy, my paryers are with you all. He will be missed.
