To the entire Leavitt Family, I'm so sorry that I cannot be at Miranda's service today as I am in Rhode Island for the week. I understand your pain as I'm sure you know Tim and I lost our daughter Rachel 5 years ago. The pain is unbearable but we take it one day at a time, one minute at a time still to this day, as you will do also. I will be here for any of you but I know it is hard to reach out for help. People say be thankful for the time we have had with our children and this is true but it doesn't make it any easier. But as one mom to another who has suffered through this unfortunate trauma just take it one minute at a time. Keep the family unit strong as you will need each other now more than ever. Miranda is with my 3 year old daughter now and I've asked that Rachel give her "lovins" which was one of her favorite words. I'm so sorry. I will be home in a week and if you are ready I would be honored to see you. With love, Gretchen Osgood
