Paul was more than a casual friend to me. He was someone I could confide in. He was someone that would listen to my troubles or concerns with true interest and care. He was the one that opened his door in Kentucky to me when my world was falling apart in New York. He was there to Help me when I needed it and to kick me in the rear when I needed that too.
Paul and I learned from each other over the years. He used to thank me for taking him fishing or hiking in the southern tier; something that as he would call it "not something he would do on his own". Paul taught me to have passion for life. Money was never the goal. Work was only a necessary evil to afford to chase our dreams.
Paul and I have actually worked together at four different companies over the years. We had many experiences and adventures together. I believe that is what helped Paul stay so open minded to the world. Always something new or different around the corner.
Paul is also the one that introduced me to the inspirational teachings of Deepak Chopra. He used the words of wisdom from Deepak to aid me when my mother passed away and I was finding it difficult to deal with life. We would spend many hours discussing the deep philosophy of life over countless cups of coffee. Paul and I both learned to seek our dharma in life. Everything else is just filler. Paul had the gift of looking at the world through child-like eyes. Always excited to see what is around the next corner. Paul said it himself; "There is no death, only transformation."
My deepest condolences go out to all of Pauls family and friends. Always remember; "It is not the number of breaths that we take in life; it is the number of moments that take your breath away."
Friends Forever,

Chris Bak

A great man with a big heart. The world is a little darker and less joyful tonight since his light has gone and we are left here without him. I will miss him, his friendship, his creativity as a film maker, and of course that big, heartfelt grin he gave so easily to everyone he met.

Peace and prayers for Paul and to his family. +Requiescat in pacem.
