LECANTO, Fla. -- Richard Anthony Marciano, 79, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at his winter home in Lecanto, Fla.
Born on April 30, 1931, to Anthony and Lena Marciano, he was raised in Belmont, Mass., lived much of his life in Andover, Mass., and spent his retirement in Florida and Standish.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty Marciano; five children, Robyn Huck of Woodstock, Vt., Richard Marciano Jr. of Buxton, James Marciano of Amherst, N.H., John Marciano of Andover, Mass., and Elizabeth Ross of Standish; three siblings, Peter Marciano of Medford, Mass., Arthur Marciano of Stamford, Conn. and Tequesta, Fla., and Frances Vaccaro of Windham, N.H.; two sons-in-law, Karl Huck and Jonathan Ross, two daughters-in-law, Nancy Marciano and Liane Marciano; and 11 grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, Dec. 16, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Beverly Hills, Fla., where he was a parishioner. A memorial service will be held in New England in the springtime. A photo memorial and guest book will be online at www.mem.com.
