Rita A. Lamb, 87
     SACO -- Rita A. Lamb, 87, a resident of Seaside Ave., passed away peacefully Sunday evening on July 30, 2006, at her residence.
     She was born on April 6, 1919 ,in Biddeford, a daughter of Liniere and Augustine Dubuc Doyon. Rita graduated from Biddeford High School.
     In 1984, Mrs. Lamb moved to Saco. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her husband and family at her beach house. Most of all, she loved to be with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
     She was an avid Boston Celtics basketball fan.
     Mrs. Lamb was a parishioner of Notre Dame de Lourdes Church in Saco.
     She was predeceased by her husband Leon Jack Lamb Jr. on March 24, 1984. She was also predeceased by two brothers: Lucien; and Fr. Gerard; and three sisters: Juliette; Yvonne; and Laurette
     She is survived by three sons: Norman Lamb and his wife Dorothy of Biddeford; Paul Lamb and his wife Susan of Scarborough; Greg Lamb and his wife Marina of Biddeford; two daughters: Constance Lamb Brescia and her husband James of Reading, Mass.; Evelyn Whelan and her husband Steve of Saco; three grandchildren: Patricia; Michele; Noah; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
     A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Wednesday from Notre Dame de Lourdes Church in Saco. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Saco. Arrangements are by Cote Funeral Home, Saco.
