Rolande Nadeau Obituary

Rolande D. 'Bunny' Nadeau, 79 CHENEY, Wash. -- Rolande D. 'Bunny' Nadeau, 79, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, in Cheney, Wash. She was born in Madawaska on March 4, 1929, to Archille and Emily (Clavette) Ouellette. She married Robert Nadeau on Oct. 14, 1950. They moved to California and lived there for 37 years before retiring to Maine in 1992. Bob and Bunny relocated to Cheney, Wash. in 2001 to be close to their son and his family. Rolande is survived by her daughter Vivian 'Vicki' Trott and her husband Richard of New Gloucester, her son Rob and his wife Tracy of Cheney, Wash.; sisters Simone Dionne of Lewiston, Geraldine Lunt of Auburn and Jacqueline Mochamer and her husband Harry of Farmington; granddaughter Valerie Thomson of West Covina, Calif., grandsons Ryan Nadeau, Matthew Nadeau and Scott Nadeau, all of Cheney, Wash.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Robert Nadeau; brothers Elmer Martin, Mauril Martin and Roger Martin; and grandson Jacob Nadeau. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home, 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway, Lewiston, 784-4023. A funeral Mass honoring Rolande's life will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Basilica of Sts. Peter & Paul (lower chapel). Interment in the family lot at St. Peter's Cemetery.
