Sarah Berlin Obituary
OLD ORCHARD BEACH

Sarah Beth Berlin, 25 years old passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2015, evening at her apartment in Old Orchard Beach. She attended Cheverus High School, the American Hebrew Academy and Old Orchard Beach High School. She was planning to attend USM this fall to complete her bachelor's degree. She loved being with her family and making those around her smile and laugh. She had a passion for people, her Jewish heritage, and the beach where she grew up.
She will be truly missed by all her family and friends.
She is survived by her parents Steven and Andrea Berlin, her three siblings, Chelsey 29 of Washington, DC, Mike 28 of Lynn, Mass., David 22 of Old Orchard Beach, and her sister-in-law Angela of Lynn, Mass. She is also survived by her grandparents Marilyn Berlin of Haverhill, Mass. and Patricia McCarthy of Saco.
Funeral arrangements will be at Temple Beth El at 1 p.m. on Monday. Shiva will be at the family home at 20 Puffin St. O.O.B. following the Service and for the next two days.

My daughters and I wish the family and friends of Sarah peace, strength, and love during this difficult time. Sarah baby sat for us a couple of times a few years ago and worked at a school where both my daughters attended. She was so full of life that it seems impossible that she is gone. There are no words I can offer that fully explain the sorrow I feel for your loss. Sarah was a life force of energy, love, and tolerance. To know her was to love her. My favorite memory is of the interview she did of me a few years ago for a course she was taking. She came to my home, asked questions, and shared some of her plans/dreams for the future. It was all too brief, but it was enough to feel her joy. She was one of those few people, who could walk into a room and shed light and happiness. Her smile was contagious. I am so grateful to have known her and her amazing family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
