Timothy Carr Obituary

PORTLAND -- Timothy Carr, 49, of Portland, died unexpectedly Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005.
     He was born on Oct. 3, 1956, in Portland, the son of Andrew and Alice Carr. Tim graduated from Portland High School in 1975.
     Tim enjoyed cooking, playing darts, watching the Redskins beat the Cowboys, watching the Red Sox beat the Yankees, and being with family and friends most of all. He also enjoyed taking his granddaughter, Summer, to the park with his dog, Snacky.
     He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Kenneth Blaisdall and Carey Carr.
     He is survived by his four daughters, Tricia Carr of So. Portland; Katie Carr, Katrina Carr, and Nichole Carr all of Topsham; granddaughter Summer Carr of So. Portland. His ex-wife Patricia Thomas of Topsham. Brothers Dale Blaisdall, Charles and wife Cathy Blaisdall, and Richard Blaisdall all of Connecticut. Andrew (Butch) Carr of Saco, Michael Carr of Westbrook, Douglas Carr Sr. and wife Rose of Westbrook, and sister Sandra Carr of Westbrook. His companion Cheryl Jackson, along with many nieces and nephews.
     Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St., Portland. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 27 at Grace Baptist Church, 476 Summit St. Portland. Interment will follow at Brooklawn Memorial Park, Portland.
