William Houlihan Obituary

William Thomas Houlihan, 78 THE VILLAGES, Fla. -- William Thomas Houlihan, 78, of The Villages, Fla., died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at Leesburg Regional Medical Center, in Leesburg, Fla. William was born in Quincy, Mass., lived in Wells, and has resided in Florida since 2006. He worked for IBM as a Systems Engineer. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Wells, an AARP volunteer for tax preparation assistance, and was an avid bridge player. Survivors include his wife C. Lorraine Houlihan of The Villages, Fla.; son Paul William Houlihan of Burbank, Calif., two daughters, Carol Ann Houlihan of Burbank, Calif., and Elizabeth Ann Weber of Walpole, Mass.; brother John Houlihan of Hingham, Mass.; and three grandchildren, Emily, Amanda and Thomas. Services will be held on Dec. 9, 2008, at 11 a.m., at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Mary's Church in Florida. Beyers Funeral Home in Lady Lake, Fla., is in charge of arrangements.

Our thoughts are with you. I spent some time with Bill at the Mens Regressive this summer and of course at John's house when Barbara's parents visited. I'll remember Bill's strong handshake and friendly greetings. - Leo & Donna Cullen
