She raised (with Jake) wonderful children and she did it with a mixture of wisdom, humor and the most keen sixth sense of anyone I have ever known. She knew things she had no way of knowing and when you looked in her eyes you knew she knew.

Always known to me as "Mrs. Mauch", she is a lady I have known since childhood; constant, friendly, and a wonderful neighbor. A perennial icon in life, she was a true friend of my parents, all of the neighbors, and will be missed so much. My sincere condolences to all of the Mauch's.

Mary Pat and family, I'll never forget the first day I met your Mom (I mentioned "being on a mission," and she was). Your Mom and Dad were always so nice to me (I still have the lava from Hawaii). God bless.
