Brook H. David Sr.

Brook H. David Sr. passed away suddenly on Friday, June 1, 2012 at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He was 75. Mr. David was a resident of King of Prussia PA. He worked as a plumber for the former David Brothers Plumbing and Heating Co. in Ardmore, PA. Brooke was a member of the King of Prussia Jaycees, the Optimist Club of Valley Forge and the Seven Happy Hookers Fishing Club. He enjoyed fishing, flying and horseback riding. Mr. David was a US Army veteran, serving as a corporal from 1956 to 1958. Born in Philadelphia, PA on June 15, 1936, he was a son of the late Herbert H. and Isabel (Gill) David. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 53 years, Anita Jo (Gilham) David; a daughter, Jennifer A. Pletcher and her husband, Robert of Parker Ford, PA; a grandson, Brook H. David; a brother, Robert G. David and his wife, Joan of Cape May, NJ; a sister, Isabel D. Shaver and her husband, Jerry of PA; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a son, Brooke H. David, Jr.; a brother, John L. David; and a sister, Aurelia James. Brooke's Memorial Service will be held at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 10:00 am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday morning from 9 to 9:50 am, at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Brooke's memory to Spay & Save, Inc., P.O. Box 122, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444 and/or the Francisvale Home for Smaller Animals, 328 Upper Gulph Rd., Radnor, PA 19087.
