John Logue

To John, Mary Ann, Katieband Jane, I am so sorry I did not hear of your mom's passing earlier this month. Your mother and dad were the kindest people to me as a kid when I'd stay at your home a few doors down from our elementary school, Holy Child of Rosemont. My own dad had died when I was 6, and since my mother had to work, your mom told mine to have me come home with John, my classmate, after school, sometimes staying for dinner until my mother picked me up. My mother always spoke of your mother with the utmost respect and gratitude, and I couldn't agree more. She was kind and loving to me like I was another son in those years. She and your dad always invited me to the shore in the summers and I remember getting rides home with your mom if she had to get back to PA for something. I can't really put into words how much your mother made me feel part of your family, always calling me "Johnny Logue" with a big smile on her face. My own mother psssed away this past Sept. 1. Now they can chat again about their kids somewhere beautiful? I'm sure. Rest In Peace Mrs. McConnell.

Your Mother, Grandmother, was my Mother's close friend (Anne Gordon). They went to Camden Catholic High School together and had many years of friendship together with my Father (Harmon Gordon). Your Dad and my Dad were also close friends. Your Dad was also my Godfather. Lots of great memories from childhood. My prayers to your family. Mimi (Gordon) DuBovec

In our prayers and thoughts also. I'm so glad we saw her and lots of her family a few months back. God Bless Aunt Kit, and she will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers also and I'm so grateful there was very minimized pain, suffering and/or lingering.

Aunt Kit surprised me how she embraced modern technology that came out after the end of her active working life.
Where people many years her junior were hesitant to use a computer, she actively responded to our Family Christmas Letters and in fact suggested the on-line version that we now send out by e-mail.
It was good to keep contact with her, however infrequent, from far away in Europe.

To all the McConnell family,
Our sympathy upon the loss of Kit, an outstanding Christian, wife and mother. She had a long and happy life, but not without its challenges. Her faith was strong and the love of her beloved, John, everlasting. May she rest in peace with other family members. Our thanksgiving is for having known and loved her and been family to her. Be assured of our prayers for all of you.
