Kenneth Upton Obituary

Kenneth Joseph Upton II, 53 of Charlestown, PA passed away peacefully on June 15, 2016 after a brief illness with his devoted wife and lifelong friend Lisa Upton (nee Giubilato) by his side. Born in New Haven, CT in 1962 and longtime resident of Wayne, he attended Radnor Schools and graduated from Hill Top Preparatory. He graduated from West Virginia University. Kenneth is survived by his Wife Lisa and Sister Karen Upton Hill (Edward) of Columbus, OH, and predeceased by his Sister Suzanne (Randy) Miller of Devon, PA. Devoted Father of five Children, Kenneth Upton III and Morgan Upton and three Step Children Tyler Lockman, Jeffrey “Bucky” Lockman and Martha Lockman all of Charlestown, PA. Kenneth was the Son of the late Dr. G. Virginia Upton (nee Guidone) and Kenneth J Upton Sr. both of Branford CT, and Step son of Dr. Alan Corbin. Ken spent his youth around horses (his beloved horse Winnie the Pooh Bear), Rode professionally at Devon and Radnor Hunt and taught at the Phelps School. Ken was an avid professional Scuba Diver and worked for Harbor Branch Research Institute. He had a passion for automobiles and was employed at Keystone Volvo in Devon for 14 years and several other dealerships along the Devon corridor. A memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Was a friend of ken as a teenager and had fond memories of him. He was extremely polite and would go out of his way to introduce you to friends and family.
We had played guitar together & had that magnum pi mustache ! god bless his entire family.
