Lou Frank was the epitome of a man of God and Family. He served his country as a medic in Korea and raised seven children with his saintly wife Helen.Lou had deep faith and battled the challenges of life with love, courage and human understanding. He exemplified the spirit of The great Russian writer Dostoevsky:Always be a human being and remain always a human being:regardless of circumstances.Do not get discouraged and do not lose hope"

Lou Frank was a great father ;mentor to the young and a loving, deducated Father of 7 great children, each unique in their faith live and in the way Lou and Helen taught them to give and make a fifference to all in their journey of life.My father was a medic in WW2 :Tarawa ,Iwo Jima and Lou in Korea. Those experiences and trauma change a man forever.Lou and Joe spent many a day praying and reflectiong at St Margarets. They both ran the race God asked them to run with:courage, love and faith.Born of the sun they travelled a short while towards the shn and leftthe vivid air signed with their Honor.
With love and Admiration

To the Frank family,
I am sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad. Your Mom and Dad always made me welcome at your house on Braeburn Lane. I have great memories of many shared escapades with most of you from trips to Vermont with Jim, John and Louie, and the Junior prom and senior week with Peter. Take comfort in the knowledge that your parents raised a great family and welcomed everyone.

In 1983 I was talking to Lou in the Den of my parent's home on Cherry Circle. I told him that I was looking for help as I had come to a point in my life that I felt if I didn't change my behaviors , I would die.Lou simply said," I'll pick you up tomorrow @ 7:30" For the next 90 days he picked me up every day and introduced me a program that would save and change my life forever. His being there for me at that time has had a trickle down effect that is almost immeasurable. I will never forget Lou being there for me. Thanks Uncle Lou.I have tried to pass it on as you showed me.Generations of this beautiful family will live on as his legacy. May you rest in peace and good humor.

Our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Frank family. The example of the decency, love, selflessness and courage of your parents inspired and influenced all who knew and loved them.Lou Frank was a part of the greatest generation; as were our parents, and he always took the time to mentor, guide and direct us to the correct path in life.I could remember as an altar boy while striving to stay awake at 6:30am mass;most daily 6:30 masses lou was there to receive communion before going off to Butcher and Singer. He taught us to never give up or give in.He had a deep and abiding faith,as did the remarkable Helen Frank. There life was there message, and all who knew and loved them were deeply touched and a foundation of decency was imbued in all of us by there life message.

I just read through all the sympathy greetings for your dad, Brady and Jim, and for Uncle Lou and the friend he was to so many people ... I feel like I know "Uncle Lou", as Brian said, and how missed he will be as a loving father, uncle and great good friend as Robin said. And as Bill said - all good things are in heaven for him now -including all his family welcoming him with the big Frank smile! For all the Franks and Hagans I know - your smiles are contagious! We can only try to carry on our parents great influence in our lives and be joyful for our memories of them and for the happiness that they now know in heaven! Much love and prayers to you, Brady and Jim and all your siblings and all the Franks and extended family and friends. Joanne Meyers

my heart is heavy today - i lost my really great, good friend lou - i (a special name i called lou)- i met lou 31 years ago, he saved my life. i was trying to decide whether or not to completely change my life and lou supported me to make the healhy choice. we had a long and special relationship. lou would decide on a whim to drive out here to colorado for a visit and once surprised us at a party we had, just showed up. lou was always there for me & i sure tried to do the same for him.
there are so many things i would love to say but it would take a looooong time. i know heaven will be pain free, mentally, spiritually, emotionally and physically - a blessing.
take it one day at a time as you did everything lou - and i wonder if they have burnt toast in heaven :) i love you my great, good, and loyal friend - robin

Our condolences and prayers to the Frank family. My Mom and Dad were great friends with Mr. & Mrs Frank. If I remember correctly, I think my Mom and Dad were god parents to one of the Frank kids. Mr. & Mrs Frank did a great job with their family. Sincerely The Mullarkey Family...........

I have known Jen (Frank) Moreno for over 20 years. We hit it off due to a mutual sense of humor and, over the years, she has always been there for me if I needed to bug her via email. Through these years, I have been acutely aware of her growth in faith. Jen's dad has what any father wants, a daughter to be proud of, in Jen. Jen and I have shared our stories about her mom and mine, as well as my own father. And now, all four of them have finished their work in this world of testing, and are safely with God. As Jen shared with me, her dad had faith. And now, she can demonstrate her own faith, in knowing that both her parents are looking down, and are dang proud of her. The best is yet to come. My sympathy and prayers go out to the whole family, and all who mourn the loss of Louis Frank.

To all the Franks, my sincere condolences for your loss. Your Father was a generous, gentleman and part of the Greatest Generation. I always enjoyed talking to your Dad and he seemed genuinely interested in learning what I was up to and how the family was doing. I was fortunate to have seen him fairly often a few years back while he was visiting in Longport. May your fond memories help in dealing with your loss. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers.

Nephew Mike Hagan introduced me to Lou in 1990, and i always called him Uncle Lou therafter. He didn't seem to mind, and it was a fitting title to a man who mentored many like myself by simply showing up and extended a hand with a peaceful, friendly smile, Thanks for being there Uncle Lou, Godspeed, and rest in peace. My condolences to the family, particularly Patty and Jimmy.

Dear Friend Lou,
It has been one day since you passed from this earth. You have touched the hearts and souls of so many, and I am grateful to have had you for a friend. Bless you for your kindness, for your friendship, for your faith…for your dedication to your family, and to life. Now you are enjoying the ultimate reward……………HEAVEN……………which you deserve. “Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, have mercy on us sinners.” It is a blessing that Jesus taught us that he came not as a leader of saints, but as a healer of sinners. I WILL see you again, Lou!
Love in Christ,
Patty Urlick
