Mary Schaefer

Mary Else Waterer Schaefer, 99, of Paoli , PA on January 20, 2015 at Highgate @ Paoli Pointe. She was a native of Berwyn. Beloved mother of Mary Ann Schaefer Smith (Dr. Stephen), Grandmother of William Edward Schaefer Woodbridge, VA, Kim Sheronas Frazer, PA, Wesley Philip Smith San Clemente, CA and Great Grandmother Christian Hopp, Corbin and Shane Smith and Noelle and Willa Schaefer. Also survived by her sister Nancy Daly of Venice Beach, FL, 2 nieces Wendy Waterer Weir and Judy Waterer Bender, and 2 nephews Anthony Waterer III and Geoffrey Waterer. She was predeceased by her husband William Philip Schaefer Jr., son William Philip Schaefer III, and brothers Anthony Waterer Jr. and Hosea Waterer. Mary graduated from Friends Central in 1935 as Class Valedictorian and attended Bradford Jr. College. She was a member of The Chester County Hospital Auxiliary, The Bala Cynwyd Garden Club, an Exhibitor at The Philadelphia Flower Show and created The Cotillian Dance School. A Memorial service will be held at Noon on February 7, 2015 in The Old St. Davids Church, 763 S. Valley Forge Rd., Wayne PA 19087. Internment private.
