Once he retired again, he spent his time between his Florida home where he could be found on his boat sportfishing and his Pennsylvania and Wisconsin homes. So sorry to hear of Ray's passing away. He and Ruth were my neighbors in Lake Point Tower. I really enjoyed all our nice times together. Ray and Ruth purchased their apartment from me.

Ray and I attended UW-Stevens Point and played football together there. After we each graduated, we lost contact with each other until about eight years ago. We enjoyed several get-togethers in Wisconsin, Florida and Pennsylvania. Ray was a fascinating person because of all his memorable experiences. My care-giver, Patricia McGrath, and Ruth had a close relationship and we miss Ruth as now we will miss Ray. I have a lot of memories of playing football and basketball with Ray. The day we heard of Ray's passing, I offered a Mass for the repose of his soul with Patricia in attendance. Ray was a good man, a good conversationalist, very intelligent and a man who always made you feel he was genuinely glad to see or hear from you. He also had a good sense of humor. May you rest in peace now with Ruth, Scott, and Mary. Msgr. Mark and Patricia
