Thomas M. Boaz, 78, died on August 5, 2021 in Bryn Mawr, PA. Born February 2, 1943 in St. Louis, MO to Eleanor Healy Boaz and Bertram L. Boaz, Jr, Tom attended The Bolles school in Jacksonville, FL, served in the Navy during The Berlin Crisis, graduating from St. Leo College and attending law school at Stetson University. Tom had a lengthy investment career as Vice President of several firms until starting his own, Thomas Boaz & Company. Concurrently, he wrote 3 military history books. A member of the Thompson Lodge Freemasons in Paoli, The York Rite, The Scottish Rite, and The Pennsylvania Society Sons of the Revolution Tom previously ran the ‘Let Freedom Ring’ event at Paoli Battlefield. A past member Board of Directors Brandywine Battlefield, he was descended from a signer of the Declaration of Independence and ancestors who fought in Revolutionary and Civil Wars. Tom will be remembered as a wise and witty gentleman. Tom is survived by his wife Barbara Durso Boaz, his daughter Victoria Boaz, and Hunter Jupiter. www.maugergivnish.com
