Betty Gibbons Obituary

Betty Sue Gibbons, age 94 of Malvern, died Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at her home.  She was born on October 13, 1930 in Prattsville, Arkansas, to the late Clarence Albert Williams and Sylvanda Jane Binning Williams.  Reared and educated in Prattsville, she was a homemaker and the widow of the late Clyde Gibbons, to whom she was married on December 24, 1949.  He preceded her in death on August 10, 2025.  Betty was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
Her survivors include her children, Karen Turner (James) of Princeton, Arkansas, and Becky Roseberry (Jack) of Benton; five grandchildren, Claigh Roseberry, Bryan Roseberry, Heath Roseberry, Amy Fite, and Susan Turner; nine great-grandchildren, Tucker, Rex, Gibbons, Grayton, Bogan, Judson, and Sims Roseberry; Blake Fite and Dylan Fite; by a great-great-granddaughter, Phoebe Fite; and by a sister, Nancy Ann Evans of Little Rock.
A graveside service will be held on Monday afternoon, October 6, 2025, at 3:00, in the Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville, Arkansas, with her nephew, Brother Mark Evans officiating, and under the direction J. A. Funk Funeral Home.
