Dan Morgan

1942 - 2026

Dan Morgan, age 83, of Rockport, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2026. He was born April 10, 1942 in Prescott, Arkansas to the late William Rudolph (Bill) Morgan and Thelma Eloise (Albright) Morgan. He attended Third Baptist Church and was a singer with the praise and worship team. He enjoyed fishing and golfing. He spent many years as a supervisor at Reynold's Metal.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Marty Morgan.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-three and a half years, Shirley Morgan; sister, Melissa Elrod (Garry) of Benton; nephews, Jonathan Elrod (Suzanne) and Colby Elrod (Emily); niece, Madeline Krech (Payton); eight great nieces and nephews, and a host of friends that will all miss him dearly.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 17, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Regency Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, February 18, at 10:00 AM at Regency Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Strike and nephews Jonathan and Colby Elrod officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Elrod, Colby Elrod, Payton Krech, Donald Compton, Lynn Headley, and Lloyd Rook.
Honorary Pallbearers will be James Pennington, Britt Wright, Mickey Garrett, C. M. Phillips, Jerry Nipper, and Jim Paul Franks.
Memorials may be made to Third Baptist Church 817 W. Young St. Malvern, AR 72104.
