Fran Scott

1950 - 2021

Fran Scott, age 71, of Hindsville, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas.  She was born June 8, 1950, in Malvern, the daughter of the late Ewell "Bo" and Janette Elrod Phillips.  Fran graduated from Malvern High School.  She enjoyed riding horses, barrel racing and deer hunting.  Fran was the first female member of the Malvern Hunting Club.  She loved being a mamaw to her granddaughters and great grandsons.  Fran was also an excellent gardener and an avid reader.  Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Scott, whom she married on July 2, 1970.
She is survived by her sons, Jason Scott (Carri Lu) of Fayetteville and Jeremy Scott (Jenifer) of Huntsville; three grandchildren, Ashley Martin (Leo) of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Whitney Prater (Hayden) of Centerton, Arkansas and Kate Scott of Huntsville, Arkansas; three great grandchildren, Ian Martin, Jace Martin and Ledger Prater; sister, Rita Pielemeier (Brian) of Hot Springs as well as many much loved nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 19 from 10:00-11:00am at Regency Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 19 at 11:30am at Philadelphia Cemetery with Brother Keith Richards officiating.  Pallbearers will be Leo Martin, Hayden Prater, Mike Phillips, Randy Phillips, Eddie Shockley and Tyler Vincent.  Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Malvern Hunting Club.
