James Swayze Obituary

James Franklin "Jim" Swayze, age 84, of Malvern, passed away Friday October 31, 2025 at his home.  He was born March 30, 1941 in Malvern, AR to the late James W. and Winnie Swayze. 
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children Lou Swayze, son Robbie Swayze, sister Charlene Legg, and brothers Bobby, Larry, and Eddie Swayze.  He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a welder by trade. He was also an avid deer hunter.
Survivors include his wife Joanne Charlene Swayze; sons Shane Swayze of Malvern, Tim Swayze and his wife Pam of Bismarck, and Jim Swayze and his wife Lisa of Fayetteville; brother Hayes Swayze and his wife Florine of Malvern, grandchildren Ashley, Krysten, Brandon, Aaron, Collin, Megan, Katherine, Austin, and Emma Swayze as well as numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
