Mary Josephine "Jo" Thornton

Mary Josephine "Jo" Thornton, age 90, of Hot Springs formerly Malvern passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was born October 10, 1927 in Malvern to the late William Mac and Coney Elizabeth Nutt Hohrine. She was the owner/operator of Jo's Beauty Shop. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Cecil George Thornton, great granddaughter Lillian Faye Turner, brothers Louie, Odis and Franklin Hohrine, and sister Bertie Black.

Survivors are her son Ronnie Thornton (Barbara) of Longview, WA, daughters Susan Jones (Bo) of Malvern, Gay Sellers (Charlie) of Malvern, and Kay Thornton (Terry) of Hot Springs, sister Una Jean Worrell of Hot Springs, grandsons Kale Johnson, Chad Turner (Andie) and Shawn Sellers (Lindsay), granddaughters Kimberly Dapig (James), Julie Stiles (Clint), Jenifer Goudeau (Robert), Ashley Archuleta (Cain), great granddaughters Gabby Daping, Resi Sellers, Savannah Goudeau, Chloe Archuleta, Alexa Archuleta, great grandsons Brentan Turner, Landen Turner, Devin Fleenor, Ryan Stiles, Hunter Goudeau, Cannon Goudeau, , Zaiden Archuleta and Luke Archuleta and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 11, 2018, 12:30-2:00 pm at Regency Funeral Home.

Graveside Service will be Saturday, March 11, 2018 at 2:30 pm at Rockport Memorial Gardens with Pastor Heath Worrell and Mark Halama officiating.

Pallbearers will be Chad Turner, Shawn Sellers, Clint Stiles, Charlie Sellers, Jeff Glenn, Danny Halama and Mark Halama.
