Patsy Ann White Jenkins Obituary

Patsy Ann "Pat" White Jenkins peacefully passed away on October 16, 2025, surrounded by her family.  Pat was born September 5, 1939, in Benton, Arkansas to Elbert and Norine Steele White.  Pat was the last surviving sibling to Leon White, Alta Lee Spann, Helen Watts, Howard White, Johnny Glendale White, Winfred White, and Jimmy White.
Pat attended Benton High School, and after graduation, began working at the KBBA radio station.  Pat's future sister-in-law, Dorothy, came to the radio station looking for a specific record for her brother, Leon Jenkins, who was stationed with the United States Marines in the Philippines.  Pat and Leon began writing letters and married soon after his return to the United States.  After their wedding, Pat and Leon raced off to Camp Pendleton in California to begin their 59 years together.
Pat was the best wife, mother, Meemaw, sister, and friend, and the world is a better place because of her.  Pat was an active member of South Main Baptist Church, the WMA Lunch Bunch, and Easy Movement Exercise class.  Pat loved roller-skating, baton twirling, bowling, quilting, serving at church, attending the grandkids' school activities, and traveling with her friends, sisters and sisters-in-law.  Pat worked for years at Keeney's where she enjoyed seeing life-long friends and making new ones.  To know Pat is to love Pat.
Pat was predeceased by her parents, siblings, and her husband, Leon Jenkins.  Pat is survived by son, Tony Jenkins (Tisha), daughter, Teresa Jenkins Howell (Lance), grandchildren Ian Jenkins (Darian), Logan Jenkins McNanna (Wyatt), Colton Jenkins, and great-grandsons River Leon Jenkins, Harlan William Cole McNanna, and Reese Lennon Jenkins (February, 2026).  Pat is also survived by sisters-in-law Charlotte Walters (Jim) and Virginia Rudolph (Gary), and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The visitation for Pat's family and friends will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Regency Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at South Main Baptist Church with Bro. Bart Herrington officiating.  Burial will be at Big Creek Cemetery following the service.
Pallbearers will be Ian Jenkins, Colton Jenkins, Logan Jenkins McNanna, Wyatt McNanna, Blake Walters, and Witt Walters.  Honorary pallbearers are Doug Young and Don White.
Special thanks to Pat's caregivers at home and at Encore who loved her, spoiled her, and treated her with the utmost dignity and respect.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the South Main Baptist Youth Fund, 2027 S. Main, Malvern, AR 72104, or The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research at michaeljfox.org.
